What’s the thinking behind this piece then?
We thought of a system, organization, nature and camouflage.

These images are from your collaboration with super cool and elusive group The Knife? That’s a pretty cool gig isn’t it?
Yes! I’m a big fan, a kind of dream come true.

How’s it different doing artwork for musicians than for yourself? Do they give you stringent parameters?
Olof and the gang sent me a lot of very good inspiration material, we liked each others ideas and from there it developed easily. Perfect collaboration. I enjoy working with a client, it’s always exciting for me to solve a problem and visualize an idea. How the work develops depends more on the chemistry and taste than what kind of field you work within.

Going anywhere nice on holiday this year?
In my head I’m planning a weekend in Madrid this spring and later this autumn something more exotic, perhaps somewhere on the other side of the planet.

Where can we see more of your work?
I’m working on an epic project with my sister (we are also creative family team). We have been working on it for a while now. It’s a huge illustration project involving writers and we hope it will result as a magazine this autumn. Keep a look out for it here and you can find archived stuff here.
