Well it’s you at Bestival, boss. Gosh aren’t you good at modelling?

Hang on – didn’t you take a cover for le cool at Bestival last year? This is becoming a tradition…
Yep, you were in that one too. What else is there to take photos of at Bestival? No one quite rocks a shell-suit or a bejewelled moustache quite like you do.

What have you been up to for the past few months?
This season I’ve mainly been going to festivals taking photos for a book called the Festival Annual. It’s a coffee table book about the people that go to festivals.

When’s this book out? I might buy one
Comes out 19th October. You can buy it in all the normal book shops. Or you can get it cheaper online now.

So you’ve been going to all the festivals this summer taking pictures?
Er, yep. I think I went to ten. Ouch, my brain…

Sounds like a tough job… what’s been your highlight?
Without a shadow of a doubt Clayton vs Jayde, Sunday night at Bestival. Featuring such classics as “Why won’t you rim me?” and “Fuckin Millwall”. Topped off by an encore of Jayde’s woodland solo roll-out piano recital with contemporary dance from Clayton. Literally the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.

I guess you probably had to be there…

Other than taking pictures at festivals.. what else have you done that’s been good this summer?
Other than festivals, I’ve been taking photos of bands and people like normal. And sleeping. Oh and celebrating Ron’s return. RonFest will be happening soon actually. Watch this space...
