I’m Xavi Padrós, and I’m a photographer as well as some other odd jobs here and there, but my camera is always in my bag. I try to mix up my professional work with graphic and industrial designers, architects….. and add it to my personal projects.
What inspired you cover pages?
The two images a part of the series “anònims”; objects, inventions, solutions, designs…. or what people sometimes need to satisfy specific personal needs, and what I find in my passing through the other Barcelona “of design”.
If you were an urban object, what would you be?
Whatever urban object plopped in an interesting place to watch the inhabitants of the city and be able to continue capturing “urban scenes”, another of my projects. But thinking more concretely about it, what I’d really love to be in Barcelona would be a park in the middle of the city, something this city really needs.
